Firearms Arrest: Westchester Resident Caught With Loaded Pistols, Police Say

A Westchester resident faces weapons charges after they were caught with two illegally possessed loaded pistols, police said.

The arrest was the result of a firearms investigation in Tuckahoe that culminated in the seizure of a loaded Ejercito Argentino .45 pistol and a loaded DRACO 7.62x39mm pistol, Westchester County Police announced on Wednesday, Oct. 25. 

As the result of the seizure, a Tuckahoe resident, whose name was not released, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a firearm. They will appear in the Village of Tuckahoe Justice Court on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

The investigation was conducted by the Westchester County Police Conditions Unit in addition to the county's Real Time Crime intelligence center, state police, Tuckahoe Police, and the FBI Westchester Safe Streets Task Force.
